Mon-Win Consulting
“In January of 2026, I took the leap to serve Mayor Corey O’Connor as the Director of City Planning for Pittsburgh, PA. I look forward to applying all I have learned working between sectors, residents and stakeholders, to build better cities. I’m committed to applying all the lessons learned, and evolving a Department can be responsive to the current needs of our City, while planning for a better future for all.”
Our Mission
“My mission is to help my clients move their projects to action by engaging stakeholders and decision-makers in relevant, deliberate conversations to positively impact the environments in which they live.”
At Mon-Win Consulting, we seek to improve communities by supporting collaborations, designing transparent planning processes, and facilitating honest conversations. Our practice is rooted in the desire to create a more equitable world where everyone’s voice is heard.
We work at the intersection of planning, policy, communication and design to help people understand each other to move forward together towards collective progress.
Our Why
Every person—rich, poor, old, young, black, white, or brown—deserves to live a safe, healthy life. This won’t happen until every person lives in a safe, healthy environment. After decades of experience working to improve communities across the U.S. and abroad, we are hopeful. Though there is so much work to be done - we believe that when all parties are brought to the table, all outcomes are achievable.
MonWin is rooted in the desire to make the neighborhoods of Pittsburgh, and every community that we have the privilege to work in, better, safer, healthier places to live for all.
