Urban Design & Planning

Architects by trade, we work to design the built environment with people in mind first. Our expertise includes urban design, land use planning, comprehensive planning, and policy work. We work to create spaces that are not only functional - but are also safe, comfortable, and designed specifically for the populations they serve.

Public Engagement & Facilitation

We believe that no process should be undertaken TO a community. Good planning must be done WITH the community, and feature true, on the ground engagement from day one. A key strength is conducting a comprehensive assessment of stakeholders and then making a true effort to include all voices. We know that some processes can move faster with less people in the room – but building genuine relationships with stakeholders, including residents, and others that may have historically not been invited to the table is at the heart of what we do. Assessing the issues together and navigating hard conversations can lead to consensus building that results in true, lasting transformation.

Project Management

We help our clients move ideas into action. A good idea means nothing if all of the pieces aren’t in place to advance it. We help our clients implement planning projects by managing each component of the project from building the project team to scheduling, creating agendas and running meetings, navigating internal and public approvals, and maintaining communication with the community and relevant stakeholders until the project is complete. The level of project management we provide is unique to each engagement and is determined by individual client and project need.
