Implementation of an Equitable Development Framework
Working to advance equitable development in the City of Pittsburgh by collaborating with a broad based coalition of partners to advance policy and project specific initiatives. This coalition is focused specifically on ensuring residents have access to safe, quality affordable housing, and are connected to economic opportunity. Public Engagement Strategy: The Pittsburgh Department of City Planning (DCP)
Ivette is advising DCP on the creation of a public engagement strategy that will set guidelines for future long-term planing efforts in Pittsburgh. Ivette is working with DCP, and the Public Engagement Working Group, a group of local stakeholders committed to authentic public engagement, on developing the principles, guidelines, and a toolkit that will serve as resource guide for future engagement efforts throughout the City.
River Roots (The Well): an ArtPlace America project

River Roots is an artful, citizen-centered rainwater project. It will capture the community’s history with water through landscape design and innovative stormwater management techniques.
Pittsburgh Riverfront Rezoning: Public Engagement
